Iron Sharpens Iron~Max Tuma is beginning his first home based business.( Fortunately for me, he is my son and lives here) Max purchased a professional scissor sharpener and is able to sharpen scissors as you wait, or drop them off with your quilt top. It is wonderful to have sharp scissors all the time now. Shears are being sharpened for $6-10, the range is there because of the case where they have been damaged somehow and need more work to be sharpened or repaired. We are working with Quilt Corner www.quiltcorner.net Sparta Wisconsin for drop off and sharpening dates. Email Max ironsharpensiron@centurytel.net for any sharpening needs.
Featherweights are becoming so popular, Max and Ric Tuma have been cleaning and repairing some machines, cleaning them up to be the beauties they were years past. Singer Treadles 66 Red Eyes are some other machines I have collected and Max and Ric are repairing. So we have a few of those for sale. I will post some pictures of these beauties soon. At this time I have no Featherweights for sale. And I don’t imagine that I would have any for sale, as I just would like have enough to give each grandchild a machine someday, hopefully I will be able to do that! I have 6 grandchildren right now, and only 2 machines…
