Confessions of a quilter~
Hello, I’m Sue and I’m a quilter, not just any quilter but one who has found enjoyment in her job! To start with I should say I have a wonderful family that supports me daily. Husband Ric, of 30 plus years and four children, six grandchildren. Having my studio in our home can be a challenge at times, but very convenient.

Sewing machines are so much apart of our lives, you can hardly walk into a room without one in. As a home school mom of a teenager I’m able to work during the day and be at home with Max, he is our caboose, which we totally enjoy. Max and Ric are actively starting an at home business, working on sewing machines, especially the Featherweights. Max purchased a professional scissor sharpener and he is enjoying the start of this venture. You can click above on the page set up for Max Iron Sharpens Iron is his business name. You can find him on Facebook Iron Sharpens Iron ironsharpensiron@centurytel.net
Quilting has been an interest of mine for years, it became a passion in 1999. I began my long arm quilting business in 2004, adding my Statler in 2009 . My Statler controlled Gammill gives me the ability to have precision work. And because I have worked with the Gammill free hand, I’m able to do both. So when I quilt needs some McTavishing around some applique I am able to do that free hand quilting. And when using the Statler for precision placement of a pattern in a block or border, I have the best of both worlds.
I am located in Wisconsin, and receive quilts from all over. Here are some answers you may have on sending a quilt to a Longarmer.

My goal is to satisfy each and every customer. My motto is “If you like my work, please tell everyone else. If you don’t, please tell me. My desire is for you to be satisfied with your quilt and my quilting.”
